Questions, answered straight.
Why Plaid, not Gmail?
Plaid is faster to set up, works with any US bank or card, and gives us authoritative settlement data. Gmail adds context (SKU-level, lifecycle events) and ships in V2 for Pro.
Which banks are supported?
Any US institution in Plaid's network — 12,000+ including Chase, Bank of America, Amex, Capital One, Wells Fargo, Fidelity, Charles Schwab. Non-US banks aren't supported in V1.
Is my bank data secure?
Read-only access via Plaid OAuth. We can't move money. Access tokens are envelope-encrypted with per-user keys. Row-level security on every table. Delete your data any time.
How often does Mouda sync with my bank?
Mouda relies on passive Plaid updates that happen 1–4 times a day depending on your bank.
Can I use Mouda without linking a bank?
Yes. Every paid tier lets you add, edit, and delete transactions manually. You can link Plaid later when you're ready.
What about CSV import?
CSV import and export both ship in V1.5 (~4 weeks post-launch). You'll download a template, upload, and rows flow through the same merchant→firm classifier as Plaid data.
Do you support my prop firm?
V1 supports Apex, Topstep, and Tradeify natively. Other firms show up as 'Unclassified' until you tag them once — then the classifier learns. More firms ship V1.5.
Is there a free trial?
No trial, no free tier. Every authenticated user has a paid plan. Keeps us focused on the product, not the funnel. Cancel anytime.
What's the Early Adopter tier?
A limited promo at $8/mo, locked for life, with Pro features. When the Early Adopter window closes, it disappears from the pricing page.
Can I change plans?
Yes — EA ↔ Basic ↔ Pro, any time, via the Stripe Customer Portal. If you leave Early Adopter, you can't come back.
When does Gmail sync arrive?
V2 — roughly 10–14 weeks after V1 launch. Every paid tier gets it. It adds SKU-level context and the pre-click hard gate for 'start a new combine' when you're over your cap.
